Payment covers 8 weeks of classes from March 8th-29th and April 26th-May 17th, and an option to participate in Recital May 24th-30th. Located in Studio 2
Join the fun as you and your toddler move along to energetic songs and perform exercises designed to work with the developing motor skills of your toddler for a safe and enjoyable experience! Not only will your child have a blast in our toddler dance class, but they will also learn important physical and personal skills, including balance, coordination, rhythm, socialization, and self-expression, just to name a few. Perhaps one of the greatest benefits is that all of this development is happening with you by their side, sharing in treasured memories that will last a lifetime!
Beginner Photography 1 (Online Class)

Tuesdays, April 6, 13, 20 & 27, 4:30-6:00pm EST
This 4 session class will help beginners learn the basic functions of their camera as well as the basis of ALL photography: the exposure triangle. Students will, through class instruction and a series of homework assignments, begin to master the use of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO to take complete control of image creation.
(Please note: This class is being offered in conjunction with other Art Centers in the state. Participants will be from around New York State and not limited to local LPCA students.)
Intro to Acting Basics with Beth Glover

Tuesdays, April 6, 13, & 20 5:00-6:30PM EST
We will work to free the voice and imagination, access emotions and create characters to tell stories. The use of vocal work, theatre games and improv exercises will be employed with enthusiasm and an eye on having fun learning. If you’ve ever wanted to explore acting and have a good time doing it, this is the class! Beth is an experienced teacher of novices and finds great joy in helping people find their own unique acting talents. This class is suited for ages 16-120+
Introduction to Photographing People (Online Class)

Tuesdays, April 6, 13, 20 & 27, 6:30-8:00pm EST
Summarize what portraiture is and what constitutes a good portrait. Describe the nuances of lighting and posing. Understanding equipment, its limits as well as strengths and maximizing what you have to work with. Embracing the concept that a portrait is created in front and behind NOT in the camera. There will be demos to help students see the topics discussed in the real world.

Intro to Lightroom (Online Class)

Wednesdays, April 7, 14, 21 & 28th, 6:00-7:30pm EST
Lightroom is one of the most powerful software packages for the organization, presentation and editing of photographs. This class walks students through organization and workflow of images as well as the different elements of lightroom. The primary focus of the class will be on the library module and develop module to have students be prepared to maximize the potential of their images. Students are asked to have "Lightroom Classic CC" installed on their computer so that they can follow along with the instructor to learn the different aspects of the software.

Intermediate Photography (Online Class)

Thursdays, April 8, 15, 22 & 29th, 6:00-7:30pm EST
This series is for students that have a clear understanding of the exposure triangle and beginner concepts of composition. We will be covering more advanced techniques and compositional elements in an effort to help guide students toward developing their own unique style. Students will have assignments throughout that will be discussed in class along with a final project at the conclusion of the course.
