Beginner's Acrylic Painting Workshop (Online Class)
with Georgeanne Gaffney
Thursday, April 22, 5:00-7:00pm EST
Join landscape and portrait artist, Georgeanne Gaffney, and learn how to use acrylic paints. You will create your own color wheel, using primary and secondary colors along with white. No black paint is needed as you will learn how to make your own black. Georgeanne will teach you a variety of blending techniques, layering techniques. You will also learn how to use different sized and shaped brushes for a wide range of effects.
Acrylic paints, solid body preferred. As everyone has different paints available to them, I recommend having your preferred primary and secondary colors: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple and White. NO BLACK. We will make our own “black”.
I used different colors depending on my mood and desired palette. For instance, sometimes I want my red to be Alizarin Crimson. Sometimes I prefer my red to be Cadmium Red. And so on……
